11月21日讯 世预赛亚洲区18强赛C组第6轮，巴林主场2-2战平澳大利亚。在2-1领先的情况下，巴林在伤停补时第6分钟遭到澳大利亚绝平，痛失好局。赛后巴林主帅塔拉吉奇在发布会上一度落泪。

塔拉吉奇在发布会上表示，球员们正在为历史首次参加世界杯而拼尽全力，他们不应该遭受如此令人沮丧的挫折：“我很激动，因为我的球员们配得上更好的结果，他们为全队而战，拼尽了自己的所有。”

“我真的为他们感到遗憾，甚至对中国队的比赛也是如此。我现在什么都不想说，只想让大家相信我们，我们会为国家而战。”
